I am a student and want to get rid of my need for sleep so that I may study for the whole night.....what medicine should I use??? ## There is nothing that is going to be safe to use on a long-term basis, so you do not have to sleep at all while attending school. Sleep is essential to your body and cannot be tossed away that easily, without suffering severe ill health effects. That said, I do not know what country you are in, so I also have no idea what is available for you. Have you thought of just trying some caffeine? ## Actually I'm from pakistan and I've been using caffeine for the last 7 years. Now it has no effect on me, so I need something better immediately.. :( ## Please tell me the name of some of the best anti-sleeping drugs. I am a student from Pakistan.

Please help me. I have gastroparises and a small hiatal hernia above stomach. I have been having sever esphagus spasms (clamping), to were I can't hardly swollow and then it becomes so intense I feel bruised down the entire esophagus. The doctor recommended Remeron to correct this. I have in past taken different meds to help with menieres most of them have been in this drug category - we discussed this after I lost my job and three years of my life sleeping on an antidepressant - I am not sure that I ever want to put this class of drugs in my body again. Does the Remeron relieve or cure the esphagus clamping the pain level is a ten and it is frightening. Please help. Do u know of something else that could help !

I am in Thailand and went to the chemist twice to get sleeping pills. The first time i recieved yellow tablets with HK printed on them. I'm not sure what they were, but they worked. This time i went to a different chemist and recieved tiny pink round pills with aTc printed on them in a triangle. Not sure what these are either, but they didn't really work. Are you able to tell me what both the yellow and pink pills are. i assume they are some sort of anti-anxiety drugs if they are also sleeping aids. thanks

I was prescribed amitriptyline for my back pain. I took one 4mg on Tues night at 9pm. I slept most of the 22nd. Maybe awake 3 hours out of that day, but was very confused! I woke up at noon on the 23rd. Is this drug too strong for me or is this normal? Could it be the combination of the two medications amitriptyline and tizanidine? I feel gittery, heart racing, confused and very tired! Please send any information that might help me understand this reaction to these drugs. ## I hope you are aware that this is NOT a pain reliever. This is an antidepressant that has helped some people with certain types of nerve pain, but it does not work like a regular pain reliever or a narcotic. As to sleeping, it is very hard to say, these do cause drowsiness, but not usually that bad. It sounds like y...

i am preparing for IAS IPS exams. suggest me some anti-sleeping pills so that i could study at nights as i am busy all the day .

My grandson who is in his twenties had a terrible earache. I gave him a zolpidem, a trazodone, excedrin and nyquil. He was still hurting so I gave him a 50 milligram tramadol. Now I am worried about how it will affect him. He is also on antibiotics. Is he going to be okay? Should I stay awake and monitor him? ## Tramadol is mainly used for depression or anxiety, insomnia so not for sure why that would be a good choice since he already had so many other drugs in him. I think he probably was very groggy after sleeping quite a bit but def over medicated. I would have checked every hour. Hope he is better now.
