I am 62 years old living in India, I am suffering from High blood pressure since last 10 years. Right from the beginning I am using Angizaar H one tab every morning and evening one Atorvastatin tablet 20 in the night. I walk at least 3 KM daily and also drink 100 ml Whisky. I had joint pains and occationally back pain, and no other complaints. Is it OK ? ## @MohdAlkudsi : muscle pain is very common with statins (atorvastatin) try to take one of the simple analgesics such as paracetamol. Joint pain this may indicate a rheumatoid arthritis. May I know whether or not taking Angizaar-H will lead to ED like some bp drugs? ## is the erectile dysfunction caused by intake of angisar reversible? ## Hello, Sabo! How are you? Yes, most blood pressure medications may cause that as a side effect, but it doesn't happen to everyone. The only way to find out is by trying it to see how it affects you. The FDA lists other typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension. Kenneth, yes, it usually reverses, once someone stops the mediation or switches to a different one. Is there anything else I can help with?

My farther is 89 and already diagnosed with heart failure. Congestive Heart Failure. From my poor knowledge this might be Diastolic heart failure as he has fluid accumulation in the feet, ankles and legs. This was initially controlled by lasix,, Aldactone and angizaar/Lorsatum then the fluid was lost but legs remain with stiff muscles. Then later prednisolone was introduced and now he is too weak to walk. Is this combination of drug correct? How can we help him to relieve the problem of stiff muscles?

Is it the tab for the pationt who suffering from high blood pressure? & can we get this tab in indian market? ## Yes, Hydrocholorothiazide is a diuretic used to treat high blood pressure and edema. It is available in India, but the brand name varies and most of what I am finding also contain another blood pressure medication, as well. One is Amiloride+HCTZ, another is Amilochlor and Angizaar-H, as well as several others. IS there anything else I can help you with?
