What is the Difference Between Amlodipine And S Amlodipine tablets, are they the same and serve the same purpose in case of high Blood Pressure ## DIFFERENCE BETWEEN S AMLODIPINE AND AMLODIPINE AND AMLODIPINE BESILATE ## The besylate just designates the specific chemical salt that the medication is derived from, so those are both the same. The S Amlodipine, however, is a little different, it's actually Levamlodipine, it's an active enantiomer of Amlodipine, but is used to treat the same types of medical conditions, such as treating high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, stomach pain and hypotension

for hypertension patient, the drug of amlodipine besilate is any different of amlodipine besylate ??? ## No, they are the same, just different spellings of the specific chemical salt that the medication is derived from. Some countries use the I, instead of the Y in words like this. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.
