I am trying get myself clean off H n just took a 6mg suboxone strip. Will it help if so long till it works? ## Hi Kitty! B 4 the suboxone will work, u MUST b in withdrawals. Otherwise, it won't work and can make u feel worse. As far as time, they usually take about 15 minutes 2 work. If the g don't work, u may need more. It all depends on how much and how long u were using. But, if you want 2 get clean, u r going 2 need more than a day or few 2 do it. U should go 2 a clinic or suboxone dr and do it properly. If u r not already doing that. Remember, the main thing is 2 b withdrawing b 4 u take the suboxone.

I have been taking subs for about 5monthes now...had tapered down to 1mg a day and then I messed u and took 2-4 mg a day for about a week. Now I can't get anymore and I only have about 1 and a quarter of a pill left ( About 10 mg) ...am I going to be able to use this small amount to be able to taper enough to have light enough withdrawls symptoms so that I can still go to work...or am I screwed? ## IT is difficult to say, since it does contain the narcotic Buprenorphine, you may experience withdrawals, but the severity can vary from one person to another. Down to 30mg morphine from 300. Out of pills, so friend gave me a 8mg Sub. To help. Waited 24hrs til i was sick. Took 2mg and was on top. Best mood and pain relieve ever. I got a white pill it's suppose to b a suboxen 10mg it has on one side 155 and the other side it has a D is it a suboxen my brothers comming off methadone he hasn't had ne methadone in 2wks want to b sure this is a sub so he can feel better ## Yeah that's a generic brand suboxone. There is no 10mg suboxone though. It is 8mg suboxone and 2mg naloxone. The imprint on the front side isn't a D, it's a crescent moon, the logo of the manufacturer. I hope this helps!

I took 4 mg (half of 8) Suboxone last night before going to bed and I swallowed it while I was sleeping by mistake. I typically don't swallow it and I don't take more than what I'm supposed to take. I woke up after a few hours extremely nauseous feeling like I'm going to throw up. I know it's because I swallowed it. I did eat a decent amount before going to bed. How can I get this nauseous feeling to go away? Am I going to have to make myself throw up? ## No it should pass quite quickly. I sometimes take mine in the morning and do the same thing, I can tell because when I burp I can taste them again. But no harm will come to you. I started Suboxone four days ago. I am taking a whole 8 mg Suboxone twice a day. I also take 45 mg of Adderall a day for ADD and I need the Adderall because I am a college student. I've been prescribed 2, 8 mg strips of Suboxone a day by my doctor. The problem is, I'm clean and have been for weeks. My question is am I going to be okay taking such a high dose of Bupe? Should I be concerned or what do I do? ## You seem to have zero tolerance.. I'll assume you are having cravings to use your doc. So can help with this but go very very slowly. 2mgs at a time. I want to taper off after ten years on suboxone. I've never taken more than 4 mg/day and I'm currently at .5 mg/day and struggling. Had no problem getting from 4 mg down to 1, but it's gotten harder recently as I've gone down from 1 to .5. Everything I'm reading makes me want to give up before going any further. Years ago I was able to taper off oxy little by little until I barely noticed the final step to zero. I've heard that's not possible with sub and that I'm going to feel terrible for a long time no matter how slow I go. I have enough of the 2 mg films to last almost a year at .5 mg/day. I'm on day four of no subs after a 24 mg a day treatment for pain and addiction. I wish i never touched the stuff. My pain management doc reccommended them to me after a year long perc and vic habit. I wish i just would of suffered throught the few days of WD from that instead of going on subs. THEY DID GIVE ME MY LIFE BACK. BUT!!!! They are very very very hard to let go of. I took 50mg of methadone today. How long do I have to wait to take suboxone? ## Wait about one to two days so it works and doesn't make u have bad withdrawals. Just called Cosco pharmacy and the price of a 30 tabs is $99.50.You do not have to be a cosco member to use the pharmacy. ## @RIlley, Thanks for sharing the good news! I've always thought that you had to have a membership to even walk in there. Do you find that $99 is a good price for 30 tabs compared to Walgreens, CVS, and other brig chain pharmacies? Generally Costco members get some sort of discount, but I'm curious to know if pharmacy patients reap any additional benefits as well for using their services. ## I'm wanting to warn you to be careful, find out who is manufacturer of the generic, I've been seeing bad things about Costco getting from 3rd world co. I have taken morphine 25 mg. I am on a suboxone program and I have to dose tomorrow. My dose is 16 milligrams. I take my suboxone orally but I took the morphine intravenously - are there any drug interactions? ## It depends, was the morphine a one time thing or have you been taking it more? You usually want to wait until you are feeling active withdrawal symptoms from the morphine BEFORE you take the suboxone or you can have precipitated withdrawal symptoms which are FAR Worse.

I am on 8 mg og Suboxone a day. I take it at 6am. I know it should last atleast 24 hrs, but it seems as if I go to sleep during the day, I wake up sick. Is this possible, that when I'm sleeping my body burns off the suboxone quicker? ## No, that doesn't make any sense. When you are asleep, your metabolism actually slows down, so if anything, it should take longer to process a medication. Have you spoken to your doctor about this problem? It is highly possible that the current 8mg dosage you are on isn't enough for you. Another problem that may cause you to wake up sick, has to do with the same slowing of your metabolism when you sleep.
