I have been a patient of hypertension for last 16 yrs. It remained within normal range with regular medication. During May-June'11 the BP was higher despite medication. On July 1, I felt trouble in speech. My doctors suspected a mild stroke but there was no sign in the vocal cord. The tightness of speech was also noticed one day only. However, a CT scan of brain revealed chronic Ischemic lesions. My blood lipid profile is normal. My 49 years old mother has been taking rabium 20, omnacortil 10 & Zydus nutriva folic acid tablets for the past 5-6 years every day. I had been taking Foltanx but my last prescription was filled with L-Methyl-B6-B12 tablets. Are these the same? Why were you taking so many per day? You should never exceed the recommended dosing. While nutritional supplements can be good for you, taking too much of some of them can be dangerous and could put your life at risk according to the NIH. Taking such a large amount might be what has caused your breakout. The old saying about too much of a good thing is actually very true. Have you consulted a doctor? It would be best to do so, they can check for any possible problems that might be starting.
