metformin hcl 500mg Filed in Metformin What is the difference between metformin hcl tab 500mg 93/48 and metformin 500mg SA tab Logo 571? Oval, White ## They are both manufactured by different companies, but contain the same dosage of the medication. It is normal for your pharmacy to switch which one they carry, depending on what company was offering the cheapest price, when they needed to restock their supply. This is how they keep their prices as low as possible for uninsured customers. Is there anything else I can help with? ## what is metformin 500mg SA 24hr tab Amneal

peach colored pill ## peach color pill that has ALVA on one side ## There are several prescription pills that carry the Alva marking, since it is the logo for a prescription drug company. Can you please provide more details, are there any other markings on the pill, such as other letters or numbers and what is the shape of the pill? The color of a pill actually means nothing when it comes to identifying prescription drugs, and colors themselves are subjective to who is viewing them, so in order to identify this, I will need any additional information you can provide. Thanks! My mother takes losartan 25 mg, but her last Rx was filled with a white round pill, with a D on one side and 572 on the other side. She said it gives her a severe headache. Could this be an Rx filling error? ## The pill with a logo and the number 572 on the opposite side does contain 25mgs of Losartan, an ARB that is commonly used to help control high blood pressure. Has her blood pressure been checked, since she started taking these tablets? There can be differences in generic medications, the FDA does allow them to differ in the active ingredient by as much as plus or minus 20%, they consider this an acceptable therapeutic window. For most people, the difference has no effect, but some people are very sensitive to medications and can suffer problems with the slightest fluctuation of t...

It's small white pill, very small. with imprint 57on frontside and a halfmoon shape in back. I don't think it's diazepam .5 because those have either an r or what looks like a Jesusfish on the other side. ## From your description, the closest match I can find is a round white pill imprinted with a half moon logo on one side and the number "573" on the other. This particular pill has been identified as Losartan potassium 50 mg; used in the treatment of high blood pressure. Manufacturer: Actavis National Drug Code (NDC): 16714-0582 Another close match is Lorazepam 0.5 mg; also manufactured by Actavis. I was told I was being given ativan. I expected small white pills with a 57 on one side and stylized R on the other (the Purepac logo) but these are not that. They are small white round with 57 on one side, identical up to that point but the other side has a weird backwards capital D or a C with an I in it or a weird old english font capital T (its so hard to make it out because they are so tiny) it ALMOST looks like a stylized cat eye or cyclops eye... i cannot find this pill ANYWHERE on the Internet does anyone know what it is please? ## From your description, I believe what you're looking may still be a stylized R, but it is the logo used by Actavis Pharmaceuticals, it does look very unusual, especially on such a small tablet. However, if that is the case, the tablet does contain...

i found a pill that is cut in half..on the front there is an m inside a square on the other side it looks like either a l44 or a 44 ## Hi carina, The closest match I've been able to locate has the imprint "M 57 71" rather than "M 44 or l44". This pill is also white and rectangular shaped with a score line and an M inside of a square. The pill I just described is identified as Methadone hydrochloride 10 mg. For verification, the manufacturer of this specific pill is Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. If this does not match your pill, is there any possibility that the marking has simply been misread? If not, hopefully you can use this information help narrow down your search. Mallinckrodt is the only company who uses the boxed "M" logo. ## I found a small rectangle ...
