Iv been on Suboxone for almost 2 years now , and iv tried every single manufacturer you can think off, starting from the very first orange oval shape ones which are the original ones not generic ones , from that to strips ,an415 orange round , white round moon imprint to, white round lemon lime ones to bupes, which are the small round ones and have a 8 logo on the front and a arrow logo on the back , and in my opinion those are the best ones because they have no naloxone in then just 8 mg of buprenorphine, those ones work the best but they are not given out much because or abuse, I am on the round peach ones right now imprint 54 375 and they are working perfectly for me , as a matter of fact they work really good for me way better then the white round ones with the imprint if moon on th...

I have taken these 54/375 for over 2 years now and have no complaints. They come from CVS. Anyone know what comes from Walgreens? ## I live in South Brunswick nj and go to Walgreens and get the white half moons that have 155 on the other side and they work great and when I skip a day on occasion I don't even see feel sick.. ## The problem is, even if one Walgreens carries a specific manufacturer's brand/generic, doesn't necessarily mean all of the Walgreens chains order the same meds across the Country. I'm sure location has a lot to do with the shipping and receiving of certain batches of a particular product, but there's a skeptic in me as to whether every store follows the same exact protocol nationwide (i.e. every Walgreens receiving Teva brand-only)... I think y...

I was on the strips now have a new insurance and had to go to gen. I was first given the white tabs with the moons then last script the RX gave me the peach tabs with 54 375. I don't see any difference with either of them exept stronger taste with the tabs. ## Fixin my info ## It is very common for generic mediations to be manufactured by several different pharmaceuticals companies and whichever one your pharmacy has in stock may change in any given month, depending on who was offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed to restock their supply. The tablet with the 54 375 marking is manufactured by Roxane Laboratories and they list it as containing 8mgs of Buprenorphine and 2mgs of Naloxone, so it is a generic for Suboxone. The FDA lists this medications a a narcotic analges...

I'm new to these kinds of meds. I need to know how to take it? I placed it under my tongue yesterday and man the taste was awful!!! ## It is a sublingual tablet, a generic for Suboxone and not everyone appreciates the flavor. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?

I been on the half moon ones and was just put on the orange 54 375 ones and they work the same I don't got a problem with them its all in your head if u think that they don't work as well its same formula as all other subs ## Hi James, Glad to hear that this is working well for you despite switching manufacturers, as not everyone seems to be so lucky in that regard. Just wanted to mention on behalf of anyone else that may be noticing differences felt between different manufacturers, is that these inconsistencies are typically caused by the variations of "inactive" ingredients more so than anything else; at least according to what I've been reading up on. Apparently there are certain binders/fillers that these companies use which cannot be fully metabolized by our bod...

These are definitely weaker for me. They say binders could be the blame. I was taking a quarter of the first orange generics, those were weaker than the name brand, but the 54/325's r horrible. I've had to take a whole pill and that was not even 24 hours ago and I woke up in sweats and complete withdrawals. They suck. I'm going to make sure I go to Walgreens, not CVS! NOW, what am I supposed to do for 10 more days? I only have two and a quarter left. My Dr won't help. I may have to find opiates which is easier, my first relapse in three years cause these pills are not as strong. Great. ## I agree!!!! They are nothing they are claimed to be! Especially after taking 20 + perc 10s a day!!! I'm at day 7 today without Percocet, not one, and they say I'm gonna feel bet...

I have been taking the white half moon subs for 3 months now , and today I picked up my script and realized a Roy d orange colored pill , none the less , this me generic sub is even more disgusting then the half moon pill and feel as though they do not work... Has anyone out there experience the same thing ?? ## Same for me. I had to take 2 1/2 8mg pills to feel comfortable. Not cool. I wish the d****bags that approve this crap would go back to making the stoppies, or stop signs from a few years back. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.. Unless, ya know, they weren't making QUITE as much money off of them as they are now, probably. Then sure, f*** everyone over in that case. Greedy. ## I have been on suboxone for about 7 years. I used to have a bad oxycontin addiction, and thro...

Is there a peach colored round suboxone with 54 375 imprinted on it? ## Good question. I'm wondering the same thing. The doctor in charge of my suboxone clinic has decided to stop the program and is making everyone taper off. I guess she is the suboxone god, taking charge of everyone's decision about the length of their recovery. Anyway, when I went to fill the script she wrote to start my detox it was this new colored and numbered suboxone pill. This pill is peach colored, my old pills were orange. I have no idea what the difference is, but these new ones say 54/375. I would have liked a "heads up" but I guess she doesn't think that is important. ## Hello, Just to confirm, a round peach colored tablet marked "54 375" is in fact a generic suboxone pill, conta...

is it the same med's as my old one that saids( an 415) ## Hello, Tom! How are you? Yes, these are both 8/2mg Suboxone generics. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. They are just manufactured by different companies. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi Tom, Based on my research, both pills you described are generic Suboxone, containing 8mgs of Buprenorphine HCL + 2mgs of Naloxone HCL. The one marked 54 375 is manufactured by Roxane Labs and the one marked AN 415 is a product of Amneal Pharma. That said, the only differences that might be found are probably within the list of "inactive" ingredients; since this usually varies for each man...

Does this new suboxone work as well as the others i just got these myself ## No. ## @m1hullxjunky (thread starter), From what I'm finding, the answer is likely going to be different for each and every individual depending on a variety of differentiating factors, (such as tolerance, age, weight, metabolism, variations in binders/fillers from previous suboxone tablets, etc),... Tracy says "No" there not as effective, but the gentleman in this other discussion thread linked below says "Yes", they are: Discuss/peach-round-pill-54-375-274817.htm So it seems the only true way to know for sure is to actually it for yourself and see how that stacks up with what you've been previously taking. I need to know if this is suboxone ## Yes, this is an 8/2mg generic for Suboxone (NDC 0054-0189). This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Inactive Ingredients: - Anhydrous Citric Acid - Starch, Corn - Fd&c Yellow No. 6 - Lactose Monohydrate - Magnesium Stearate - Mannitol - Povidones - Sodium Citrate - Sucralose Ref: DailyMed ## I'm supposed to be on 2 mg.... small (hard to break) orangish tablets are what I’ve been taking for 2 years. So what strength was the large one? ## Peach ...

I am trying to cut back on my pain pills (oxycodone #10) that I take 4-5 times daily for my pain. If I take the suboxone later that day and am still hurting, can I take 1 of my oxycodone's and will it work with my pain or will it block it and I would be just wanting it? Please help me if anyone knows the answer. ## The Naloxone in the Suboxone will block it from working. The Suboxone takes a very strong hold on the opiate receptors in your brain and tends to kick out other opiates, which could also result in dangerous precipitated withdrawals. i was getting Orange suboxone I was down to a quarter of a pill although my doc thought I was taking half 2 a whole (I wanna get off he doesn't want me 2 so I didn't say I lowered myself)then all of a sudden I get switched to these peach/pink whatever you wanna call them pills next thing I know I'm back to taking half to a whole, found some of my old orange started taking half&i was fine just not happy cas I was down to a quarter before these peach/pink ones which I had to go back 2 cas that's what I have,I think they are weaker. I do not find the new Roxane peachy pink tablets of suboxone to be as strong as the orange,I felt a little off,had anxiety and was even a little extra depressed. Suboxone, more specifically Buprenorphine hcl/Naloxone hcl was never intended for chronic use or maintenance purposes. I am on the board of directors of a substance abuse treatment organization in upstate New York. We have several facilities at all stages of the continuum of care. Here is New York state, as in many states throughout the country, there is a consistent, persistent rise in clients requiring treatment for Suboxone dependency and Suboxone addiction. When used in its intended manner, which is for supervised medical detoxification only Suboxone presents very little risk of inducing drug seeking behavior, and only a mild risk of tolerance and dependency. It is to be used only in progressed opiate dependency and intended to be started 24-48 hours after the last agonist dose, and...

hi jim here i just stated taking these 54 375 pills yesterday they seem the same as the others just wandering are these just as good as the strips? or should i switch thanks ## Hi jim i personally dislike the gen sub 54 375. I just got them in replace of the actavis 155 ..id tell you to take the actavis 155 there the closet to the old N8 which i loved. then id choose the film strips but there not dispensing the 155 anywhere near me or anywhere in general. So id stick with the film srips if i were you.. I took back the 54 375 and got the film. ## Is there a reason why they keep dumbing these down? It's getting ridiculous at this point. Do they WANT us to relapse?

I'll admit it I've been taking a half of sub a day (only a half, no more) for 2 years and now with these new peach ones I'm up to almost a whole one a day. It just doesn't keep me straight with no withdrawal symptoms. I'm not saying what I'm doing is right with the way I'm taking it, but know it or not, when these were first made they were supposed to be in a suppository form. Anyway just saying I know me and I know my body and these new ones are not holding me over like all the other ones did. why idk, I'm not the man in the lab. ## Tenncare is just starting everybody that gets suboxin tablets to try the new ones.. Does anybody know if their the same or have different effects? ## Whenever you switch to a new tablet/manufacturer, if there's not a chan...

So I have been on Suboxone for years and years. I have had every different generic made and found they all effect me mor or less the same. However, I am having a hard time with these new West-Ward 54 375 generics. This one just doesn’t work the same. I know all generics have the same amount of drug in them but these just real weak and it really pisses me off. ## Actually, they do not all have to have the same amount of the active ingredients. Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, they are allowed to differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredients, by as much as plus or minus 20%. They also do not have to measure against other generics, only against the name brand, so it is conceivable that the new one you are taking was lower in the amount of active ingredients t...
