yellow pill with imprint code 254 ## Any chance that the letters IP appear on the pill as well? There is a yellow oval pill with the imprint IP 254 - and that's Ranitidine 300 mg, generic for Zantac. It is commonly used in treatment of peptic ulcer disease (PUD) and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Anyways, can you please post back to let everyone know if this is the correct pill which you have? Otherwise, please include any other details which you have.

I think u r mistaking the 5 when really it is a 9 instead. If that's the case then it is xanax .5 mg ## @Silas, I'm not sure who you're message is being directed at when you mention that "I think you're mistaking the 9 for a 5", but the imprint S 901 is actually referring to Alprazolam 0.5mg (the generic for Xanax - not brand name Xanax). I only bring this up because there are many instances where patients note a completely different reaction to a brand vs a generic alternative. For added verification, the manufacturer is reported to be Dava Pharma and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 67253-0901. I hope this helps and thank you Silas for taking the time share this pill ID none the less! It's easy to mistake some of these imprints when images we...

please be extremely careful with this medication. I took two last night approx an hour apart and about 2 hours later I had to go to the hospital for severe depressed breathing among other things. ## Hi Matt, Thanks for sharing the warning on this pill. I know every drug can effect each person differently, but this really sounds like it's not for anyone. I located the round yellow pill in description to be Nucynta tapentadol (50 mg). Tapentadol is a centrally acting analgesic; it has both opiod and non-opiod activities. This drug does have a high potential for abuse (although, I'm not sure who would want to abuse it after reading your post). It's good to hear that you made it out ok though! That must've been a huge scare. A lot of these pain medications can have the worst...

I need help identifying a pill. It is very light yellow and round, with no scoring. The only identifier is (I think) A I, on the same side. It is clearly a capital A. Next to the A is either I, or 1. It looks like a capital I, just a straight line. Thanks in advance ## Hi Roland, I "may have" located to your pill to be Zolpidem tartrate extended release (12.5 mg). I only say "may have" because my source does not show a photo of the pill; just a description that matches "A1" and that the pill is round and yellow. If it helps to know, the manufacturer of this pill is Actavis Elizabeth LLC. I'll go ahead and post this drug information below so you can see if it rings a bell or not: Zolpidem is a prescription medication used for the short-term treatment of insomn...

I am on this pill for migraines. The doctor said I'll be on it for the rest of my life. Is this going to be safe? I also get the "tinglings" in my toes, fingers and my face. ## Did you mean to say IG 279 as opposed to just 279? If so, I located the yellow pill to be Topiramate (50 mg). It is FDA approved for, and most frequently prescribed for, the prevention of migraines. It may also be used in treatment of fibromyalgia; if that's what you are referring to with the "tinglings" in your toes, fingers, and face? Thick round, light yellow pill. Only marks are: P73 ## From what I've sen from other replies about this same pill is that this is a low dose (81 mg) aspirin. ## Small white pill with P73 printed on one side. ## I have read that this is a low dose asprin but there is an odor to the bottle I found and it has no label on it. it smells like vinegar. ## CVS Pharmacy does list this tablet as containing 81mgs of Aspirin, which is the dosage many people use for heart health, and blood thinning. NDC code: 50428-2302 The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Curious, many medications can have an odd odor, that is not unusual. Was the bottle marked as containing Aspirin, or something else?

How long does it take to work and can you take Advil with it? ## Before I can answer this, I need to know if the APO and 500 are on the same side of the tablet or opposites? Also what country is it from? ## Do any other letters appear on the inscription or opposite side of the pill such as MET, CIP, GAB ?? If NOT ... I have searched around and so far the closest pill which I have found to resemble your description is: " Each yellow, capsule-shaped, biconvex tablet, scored and identified 'APO 500' on one side, contains naproxen 500 mg " [1] So my best guess at this point is that it is called Apo-naproxen from Canada, containing, of course, Naproxen 500 mg as stated above. If that sounds like what you have then you should NOT take Advil with it, as Advil (Ibuprofen) is ano...
