Need dr to prescribe 2mg xanax bars. Been on them for years, over 10 and my Dr is now saying he can no longer prescibe them for me. In desperate need of Dr who will prescribe 2mg bars, xanax. Is Levoxyl being recalled again in 2017? If so, for what this time? I have just read that it is being recalled again in 2017. My dr has just prescribed it for me. ## Hi Maggie, In my personal investigation there are no apparent announcements (official or otherwise) of a Levoxyl recall taking place at this time in 2017. However I did come across mention of a previous recall from 2013-2014, by the american thyroid association. Where did you read about the possibility of a recall for 2017? And I'm not sure if this makes any difference, but was it pertaining to brand name Levoxyl or its generic counterpart Levothyroxine?

Who should I write to about shortages of pain meds? After 20 years of successful treatment of excruciating back pain by methadone, suddenly my pharmacy has to put in a special order which takes 6 days to fill. ## Unfortunately, this is just something that happens, once in awhile. Due to DEA directives, every pharmacy is limited in how much of any given controlled substance they can order in during a given month period, which may not necessarily be from the first of the month to the last, just like a fiscal year, it can vary depending on their usual ordering and stocking habits. I've noticed that the last three years in a row around this time either at the Adderall generic Sandoz brand is on backorder or suddenly the pills don't have the same affect. So in essence the pharmacy and drug manufacturers I getting paid while patients suffer without the proper medication. Has anyone else had this happen this month? My one year of zubsolv is done 7/1/17. I am terrified and need to taper and quickly. Where do I start ? How can I do this? I have and my 8 year old to care for. Husband passed and only living parent. I want to be a good mother. I only take the zubsolv. I realize now I have been fooling myself. ## It's not as bad as people would have you think. You will feel bad for a couple of weeks. I've been taking Xanax for a few years now and I've been with my Dr. for 8 years. My Dr. moved in July 2017 and we received a new Nurse Practitioner in late August 2017. I scheduled an appointment with her so I could meet her and go over my history. She completely took me off my Xanax and my Ambien and put me on Klonopin. My PM Dr is telling all patients he can no longer write Oxycodone beginning Jan 2017 because the DEA is controlling the supply and it will be virtually impossible to find. Does anyone know more about what is going on? I have situational anxiety, my pcp prescribes me 0.5 alprazolam. She normally writes a prescription which states to take 1 tablet orally 1 x a day. I'm going to get my script soon, ive been taking the Actavis brand (Walgreens) and I asked if my next refill it could be the Greenstone g3722. My dosage I'd 2mg. I has the Mylan xr but would say the ACTAVIS is better. Should I stick to Actavis or go for Greenstone? Is it ok for me to take Meloxicam 15mg after expiration (3/16/2016 to 3/16/2017)? My orthopedic Dr prescribed them for me because of severe knee and joint pain. ## According to FDA reports, it doesn't become dangerous, once expired, but it may start to lose efficacy. Thus, it would be best to dispose it and obtain a new supply from your doctor. I'm 69 years old and have been on 50 Fentanyl patch for about a year. I've gone down to 37 and having stomach cramps headache's anxiety and will soon be on 25. I'm scared the anxiety is awful. I have no family and I'm wondering if anybody else out there is suffering the same thing? ## Fentanyl is a very potent opiate, so any tapering should be done on a very slow schedule. How fast have you been doing it? Is your doctor setting up the tapering schedule for you? Since it is so potent, it is normal to experience some withdrawal symptoms, when tapering, or stopping it. I was on Atenolol from 2002 to 2017. Then there was a "shortage". The new Atenolol is absolutely NOT the same. If it was, I wouldn't have to take 9, that's right 9 50mg tablets of metoprolols with the Atenolol. I've told my Doctor. He either doesn't believe me, or doesn't care. With my hand on a Bible.... I have an extremely painful oral Neuropathy of 3 cranial nerves for three years. I have had to travel out of state to see Specialists in both Oral Facial Pain and Neurology. There is no cure for this problem. Have tried acupuncture and Homeopathy without any improvement. The only thing that can be done is efforts at reducing the neurologic pain, the pain cannot be stopped. I take an antiseizure med Gabapentin (Neurontin) and also brand Valium 5 mg. every 12 hours. I was looking at the topics. I noticed that it will be less effective. Will it worsen the side-effects that come with it as well? I forgot to refill it when it expired, and I plan to get it refilled tomorrow since my refills expire on 9/1/2018 and I have 3 refills, though I will need to talk to my psych doc to get more meds. ## No, it does not worsen the side effects, nor does the FDA report it as becoming dangerous, once expired, it just might not work as well as it did, when it was new. I have been taking Generic - Oxycodone Instant Release (IR) 30mg for at least 12 years as my breakthrough pain Med. For the last 3-5 years, I have taken Mallinckrodt Oxycodone IR 30mg (Generic) and they work great. In mid July 2017, I filled my usual script for Oxy IR 30mg from my usually pharmacy. In July of 2017, i was admitted in the hospital for fluid overload, (I am on dialysis) my primary doctor was there and ordered xrays for my chest and had said my chest was clear and he left. But the other residents lied to me and said that i had pneumonia. And they proceeded to give me bags of levoflaxacin through if. Since I've been home, i am experiencing a strange discharge, my jaw is swollen on my left side, i had high blood pressure, lupus, pacemaker and on dialysis.
