Is it possible or advisable to split the zolpidem in 1/2 to get off this drug. What is reccomended?

Are you sure that is the marking on it? Can you please double check and post back? I can't find any white, oblong pill listed in the databases that has this imprint.

Bonnie, are you taking the regular release, or the time released formulation? If it is the time released one, it is not safe to split it.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of Zolpidem as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, sleep actions, hallucinations, and next day hangover-like effects.
