Xarelto Do And Dont After Treatment

I was put on xerelto 3 months ago after hip surgery and got a dvt..Dr took blood work last week and a doppler ultrasound and found no markers or signs of blood clot in my calf. I have been taken off 2 days ago but no dr will tell me how long to wait to shave or continue advil..I also can not find any information on it..Please help.Thank you

There is actually no need to refrain entirely from shaving, when taking Xaretlo, you just need to be very, very cautious as even a small nick could bleed severely. Thus, unless your doctor says otherwise, you should be fine if you just proceed with caution.

As to the Advil, only your doctor can inform you as to how long you should wait.

The FDA classifies it as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation.
