This may or may not be a complete list, but I think it should cover at least most Xanax pills (I didn't include any of the generic tablets):

Xanax XR (3mg) - green, three-sided tablet
Xanax XR (2mg) - blue, round tablet
Xanax XR (1mg) - yellow, four-sided tablet
Xanax XR (0.5mg) - white, five-sided tablet

Xanax IR (2mg) - white, rectangle tablet
Xanax IR (1mg) - blue, oval tablet
Xanax IR (0.5mg) - orange, oval tablet
Xanax IR (0.25mg) - white, oval tablet

Well for one Xanax is not a pain medicine. I have heard of other Doctors using Xanax for pain to calm you down. Does nothing for pain

The yellow rectangle ones known as yellow bars or yellow ladders are actually 2 mg so are the white and green bars that’s have four sections

Xanex is NOT pain medicine. Xanex is primarily used for anxiety disorders. It can help relax muscles and keep you calm but it is not a pain killer.
I hope you are all healed up now and no longer need to know this :)
