Xanax - Drug Test Coming Up!

I am 4'11, 100 lbs female who takes xanax daily for anxiety. I quit cold turkey on the first when i had to schedule a drug test for the 16th. I started weaning myself down off my daily dose of about 4mg to about 1-2mg (even stopped taking it on weekends/not at work or in stressful situations) two weeks prior because i knew this would be coming in the close future.. I think i'm being over paranoid but do you think my system will be flushed by then? I can by NO means have benzos show up on my test even though they are prescribed. I have been working out like crazy, keeping hydrated with water and other juices, even drank those nasty 'detox' drinks.. i have been doing everything imaginable that i can think of... do you think i'm in the clear? Should i bother wasting my money on a home drug test & testing myself prior? Oh the joys of anxiety!

While anxiety is 100% real, discontinuing Xanax at the level you take for a drug test could wind up causing a stroke or death. I'm glad you're working out and staying hydrated but to cut from 4 mg to 1 mg is a prescription for death
