I just got burned with Buspar. I was told that I didn't know what they look like and was intimidated. I should have known. I don't take it to feel high. I was dropped by my doctor, and I have a really bad anxiety disorder. The withdrawal is hell. It's my fault. I just got pressured.
I was told those were xanax, then a friend of mine said they were buspar. Is there a difference?

Yes Xanax would be in a different class of medicine. Buspar is sometimes used for Anxiety and is not addictive like the Benzos

Hello Welshwitchshannon,
From what I was able to find the pills you are describing are a Buspirone hydrochloride 15 mg oral tablet (NDC 0093-1003). The NIH states that this medication is used to treat anxiety but despite that it does not mean that Buspar is the same thing as Xanax. Are you trying to say that someone told you that you were prescribed Xanax but given Buspar instead?
