Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant that is also used to treat some mood disorders, and certain types of nerve pain.
You should not stop taking a high dose abruptly, because along with the possible withdrawals symptoms of mood changes, irritability, and confusion, the FDA also warns that it creates the risk of seizures.
How long have you been taking it?
