Withdrawals From Dilaudid 2mg X 5 A Day

My pain Mgmt. doc. stopped giving me dilaudid 2mg, 5 times a day and fioricet 2 times a day as my urine always came back negative. I mean, she just cut me off and I am afraid as I do not know or understand what I will experience. Can someone please explain to me what all to expect as I do not see another pain mgmt. doc. for four months. Thanks for listening to my problems, Sally

Hi I feel that we're in a similar situation, as my prescribed Xanax more than most of the time comes back negative in my UA -a few times I actually ran out of them 2 days before my dr.visit and I told him that I had taken a half a few times during the month do to just felling I needed it. I'm prescribed one .25mg and one half a day which comes out to a very small dose of .375 daily. I've been warned and I could be taken off my suboxone prog. after being on it for 5 yrs. and I'm petrified. I can find nothing that explains why when I've taken my dose that it show negative. So frustrating and only adds to anxiety, Right - the DEA regulates my life - and I'm sick of it. Oh yeah, my doc gave me a 21 day taper from the Xanax - it obviously did not help me detox after taking such a small dose but for 2 years, I've definitely become tolerant dependent and at this time living in such a state of benzo withdrawl, I'm seriously considering getting something from a friend who has prescribed benzo's. Sally, I hope you can figure some way to ease your discomfort, I feel for you girl.

Being on such a small dose and not taking the med a few days before would make sense a urine might come back negitive. Let me put it this way my 5 pound Chihuahua is on a higher dose Xanax for thunderstorms then you are.

If he is doing a minor test such as the dip stick than no I would think it would be negative. However, if they do a gas spectrometry test than absolutely it would be positive. I go to the most regulated, strict over the hill Methadone clinic you could ever go to. I do not know why but they test for 27 different kind of drugs at the clinic and ALL gas spectrometry. I've never seen a clinic so strict but I hope u find relief take care! Joseph
