Yea tell em bro. DOT dont test for subs. While people in this world gotta lie so much for nothing. Im class A. And I been in the dope game for 19 years. And been on subs before anybody else in the country probably, when it first came out. I test DOT every 2 years for the last 12 years.I KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT.

Here is what the transportation.gov website has to say. Doesn't get more concrete than this. They DO NOT TEST FOR SYNTHETIC OPIATES OR SUBOXONE. THEY ONLY TEST FOR THESE DRUGS SPECIFICALLY!!!!

Dot absolutley doesn't test for suboxone or methadone, neither does conway

No they will not show up I've took four drug tests this year. One for school, one for the first job, one for the second job and a random at the second job all dot drug screens and past all. You have to specifically test for suboxone to see if the person is taking it.

Hey, I know u wrote this awhile ago but can u just confirm that what u said is true... I'm going too smith and solomon and i kicked heroin but I got a suboxone habit, so I'm trying to get off them so I can get my c.d.l.. I dont have a prescription, so I just wanna know, will a suboxone show up in my urine..? Thanks a lot.

Dont listen to these people suboxone takes 30+ days to get out your system. it will not make u test positive for opiates. they have to test soecifically for the bup in suboxone. theres alot of 12 panel tests and they dont all check for the same 12 drugs so its kind of an impossible ?. if you know what drugs they test for and buprenorphine isnt 1 of them you'll pass 100%. if anybody here took a 12 panel to get their license back in michigan and passed while on suboxone please let me know where you went for the substance abuse evaluation

Ash will u face the fact that ur wrong. A dot drug screen is mandated by the federal government. Now ur company that u probably drive a forklift in can give u a test that will show suboxone. But that's just so they can get cheap insurance. They don't care about u at all. It's about money. I have worked around Conway all my life and there a bunch of turds. So u guys are fine take ur drug test and don't worry. I promise u will not be disappointed. Now if u wreck and it shows up ur in a whole bunch of s***. But that's not the case right. Oh and ash. U can seek councling for ur attention craving behavior. None of us know u or ever will so impressing us is pointless. It makes u look silly. Gotta go. Got lots of life to love. Go ahead and write back. I'll never see it. Lol

Your employer can and will give u a drug test of there choice testing for everything possible. But truth is the federal government just test for five drugs that were popular 30 years ago. Think of it like this bin Colorado pot is legal by the state but not the federal government. Well Conway test for everything bc they get a good reputation high csa score and they save money on there insurance that's the only reason they do it. It's about money. Companies do not care about u they care about money. A dot test for a cdl does not test for a lot of common drugs suboxone being one

No will not show just finished school and am now driving for a large company. Have passed all DOT drug screens. It will not show. It has to be specifically tested for and they don't test for it.

Go see a shrink pal, by the way you carry on, I hope you are not a driver, not even 4 wheeler!
As for Conway, they are not that great, I would never drive for them or recommend them to anyone.
A friend of mine is on a suboxone program and has successfully quit hydrocodone, and is on his last month of tapering off suboxone. Who BTW passed a DOT UA a couple days ago!
No thanks to fools like Ash and the lousy company he works for!

No it will not they do not test for bute which is what suboxone is when the body metabolizes it. I have been on suboxone for 6 months and pass all drug test

Thabk you. I know you are correct from multiple tests that i was using suboxone. Oxycontin and vicodin and percoset.
I use to have a problem and it never came up. Now i don't thank God.
Thanks for the info. People on suboxone are trying to help themselves dont worry. It does not come up on a dot 5 panel test

If you test positive for a prescription drug on your D.O.T. UA and have a doctors prescription, you will pass! The only way your employer will find out is if you tell them, as it is against federal law for anyone to share your medical info with anyone without your written permission!
I am a CDL driver and work 2 seasonal jobs, so I take 2 UA's a year, plus randoms, and have yet to see anything more than a 5 panel test SO FAR!
Please disregard the mis-informative posts by user "ASH". An employer can choose to give in house drug tests for anything, and some are even using hair follicle tests. Fortunately most of the companies who are getting ridiculous with pre-hire tests are not places good experienced drivers would want to work anyway!

To all who are concerned about the DOT drug screen for suboxone
They do not test for it. I just took mine too get into my CDL training class and all came back negative. No positive test for suboxone. Just so you know they don't even test for it.

@Ash I think you think you know what you are talking about but you actually don't know the facts. The fact is that suboxone DOES NOT show up on a dot drug test period. It is Jan 2015 and I had a dot physical and drug test and it did not show up. The only way they can test that is a special test for suboxone. Maybe your job requires that but that isn't how it is everywhere. I've had multiple drug test and NONE shows suboxone. The only one that does is at my doctors office because that's what they are testing for to make sure you are taking it. So get your facts straight first before you start spewing off misleading info on here to people that are looking for straight answers.

I gaurantee Suboxone WILL NOT show up on a DOT 5 Panel drug test. I've been thru this test about 5 times and it does not show. Suboxone is not expensive to test for, as one can buy the drip stick tests online for $3.00 per stick. One issue DOT tested patients need to be aware of now is that, MANY big chain clinics such as Concerta are having their DOT examiners are reviewing the patients Prescription history in the National Database. (The same database used by physicians to prevent Dr. Shopping.)

Hi I am about to start a class for my CDL training to get my class a license. I read your post and wanted you to know that I thank you for the input cause I'm a suboxone patient and was worried if it was going to show up on my drug test for the dot. The class sends us for the test so i didn't have to take one when I went for my physical and I have about worried myself to death about this. If you do know of any difference since this post please advise.
