Why Glycomet 250 Is Used?

Hi, am 34 yrs old,and I am taking Glycomet 250mg twice daily..I concerned to know that...Is I am diabetes?please clear me this because some of them is telling that it is diabetes...and some are telling its not...its insulin which is higher in our blood.

High blood sugar and diabetes are the same thing, so both sets of people are actually telling the same thing.

Glycomet contains the active ingredient Metformin, it is used to help lower and control blood sugar.

However, it is also used to help treat polycystic ovary syndrome, so just because it's been prescribed, that doesn't necessarily mean that you are diabetic.
