Are you referring to Propoxyphene?

No, it is not used in laxatives, at least not in the U.S. and Canada.

Propoxyphene is a mild narcotic pain reliever, so it actually usually causes constipation, so quite the opposite problem.

Other side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth.
