What Is The Shelf Life Of Alprazolam Before It's Useless? (Page 8)

I have a bottle of alprazolam from 2005 and I'm wondering if it's still good? It's 4 years old at the time of writing this.

Seriously Tabitha my father is a Christian man. He has a Christian book published. He was a firehouse chaplain chaplain we went to Sunday school made our communion and confirmation. My son attended Christian School his whole life. The rest of the family has gone their own Christian beliefs. Panic attacks unfortunately run in my family it is a chemical imbalance very very scary. I've suffered for many years from anxiety disorder. And I can't tell you how upset I was when my teenage son had his first one. Face it you don't know what you're talking about

Thank-you Tabitha, this is the way I world prefer to be helped-through Jesus Christ. But some nights my panic is so strong that I need Xanex, as I can't control my mind or thoughts to Christ. I wish I could. I pray that I could.

Yo Mr Dean,
Why is it that when a person submits a suggestion with a sincere intention of only trying to help a total stranger, a comment is posted ridiculing them from someone who is a nasty mean hearted bully that calls them a vulgar name. nasty bully that calls the person a vulgar name.
Just because you disagree there is no need for abusive rude behavior.
So try not to be mean to folks who are merely trying to others.

For all those wondering I read this post and got some assurance but then took some alprazolam that were over five years old and they did the trick. Totally effective five years later

Not always, I'm working on some 2013 Alprazolam as we speak and it is fine. Yet the Rantidine I have in my overnight bag in the car went rancid. To be fair the car heated up to 125+ Degrees in this Southern California area, and out of 6 meds the Xantac (not Xanax) went bad

im72 year old female recently started to have severe panic attacks and anxiety. tried buspar 30 mg kolpin 05 next day was desperate had xanax in cabinet 0.25 took 1 it helped/. called dr told him kolpin made me more anxious. i told him i took xanax it worked,prescribed it 0.25 3x a day. still wake up after 3 or 4 hrs sleep try to wait for about two hrs before taking next dose. im paranoid, from all i read that im going to become addicted from all i read & hear.my appt with the shrink is in 2 wks i cant function without them now i know exactly how you mustn't felt . God Bless Senior

I found my outdated script to work fine even when I only took 1/2 of one. Such answers as God will help then everyone with a medical condition would be healed but I guess we just do not pray enough. Please. Panic attacks are a real thing like a headache or a backache and doctors who know and understand are also Gods people. So stop the nonsense about Jesus and God already. That is why we have hospitals and doctors and nurses, etc.

Wow, this was a fun ordeal trying to get answers from Xanax patients and their older scripts! This is why I had to read through all of each person's philosophy on God! I feel like this is not pertaining to the subject matter supposed to be on here! There were some very good answers, I think I came up with they might be a little less potent...as I took mine sublingually as to avoid my GI tract. The older ones do not have the horrible taste? I had to take a little more. I have been on this for over 20 years, and do have a stockpile...what happens if there is a disaster? I think ahead. I believe in God, but you know what, no one is really going to have an answer till it's their time. I believe in near death experience also... Everything is here for a reason...everything is your choice...your beliefs...it is not my choice to have panic attacks, but it was not my choice to have been abused. It is my choice to use what I can to stop the attacks in their tracks! Thank God there is Xanax, used wisely!
