What Is The Maximum Mgs You Can Take Per Day With Suboxone

Oh my gosh, it's so very hard to get a straight answer..all I get is everyone's opinions. I'd love to know what is the maximum dosage of mg a person with Chronic Pain can take PER DAY? Thanks in advance for helping me.

The maximum recommended dosage of this medication, per day, according to the U.S. FDA is 32mgs, regardless of whether it is being taken for pain, or drug addiction.

They also warn that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

Dodo verwon is correct with the maximum dose but suboxone has a ceiling which means after 24 mg no matter how much more u take u will not get any more pain relieving effect

You are 100% correct sir. 24mgs. is all you need and should take, anything more is a waste of suboxone and money. In my opinion though suboxone is not a very good pain relieving drug, however it's excellent for combating an opiate drug addiction. I wish I just said "NO" to drugs when I was younger. I'm 50yrs. old now and have regrets to the max every day. It totally ruined my life and my family's. My daughter doesn't even acknowledge that I exist. Don't want any sympathy, just wish one person or many see this and really think twice about the road you're going to be heading down.
