What Is Good Sub For Xanax 1 Mg

My doctor wants to take me off Xanax. I have taken 1mg 3 times a day for 10 years. I take it for my anixity disorder as well as a relaxant for my skeletal muscle disorder. I need to know the names of medicines that will work the same as the xanax and that my body won't go into withdrawl. I've already lost my pain medicine last month now he wants to quit writing my Xanax.

They say Klonopin and I did try two. Seems to work but almost the same stuff

There are a number of other benzo-class drugs on the market outside of Xanax. Some affect people differently than others based on their varying half-life's and sheer potency. But certain medications ending in "pam" (such as Diazepam, Lorazepam, Clonazepam/Klonopin as mentioned, etc..) seem to me like they would provide similar effects due to sharing the same mechanism by which they work. This doesn't take into account them being either long-acting or short acting (like Xanax); different potency - to name a few discrepancies inherent in their slightly different chemical make-up.
