I do feel really stupid for having not read the packet carefully

Have to take a DMV test, is it ok to double up on my medication, which would be 200 mg of losartan & 10 mg of Norvasc at the same time

Sorry to hear about the mishap with double dosing. I realize you posted this about two weeks ago on the 1st of May and am curious to know how you're feeling at this point in time? Did you end up experiencing any unusual side effects that might've been attributed to having more in your system (i.e. low blood pressure, slow heart rate, fatigue, tiredness, etc)?
My theory is that the symptoms wouldn't have lasted very long once the medication reached its half life. However I understand that everyone reacts/responds differently and can only hope that everything turned out for the best... I will add that I think it's great that you're not worrying too much, as the stress and anxiety itself could cause it's own set of problems...

I have been accidentally taking 2 100mg tablets of Losartan for 10 days. I have been feeling extremely tired and fatigued. Have been having to urinate a lot. Can hardly stay awake at work. (I was supposed to double-up on my statin drug, but mistook the Losartin for atavorstatin! Do I feel stupid!)

After experiencing severely swollen lips and face I was taken off Lisinoprol and put on 50mg Losartan and after 2 wks. my NP has gone up instead of down!!
It is now at 180 to 185 systolic and I can't sleep and feel extremely tired at all times!
Should I quit Losartan? I'm 73.

Luckily most physicians are removing Lisinopril from their formulary of prescribed medication. Here's why: Lisinopril is a very old medication and has been around for some time. In that time, so many advances, and of course many side effects have remedied since Lisinopril was first on the market. Losartan switchover for me, was easy and the only side effect I felt waa loss of appetite. I felt better and slept better. Im on 50mg once daily.
