Vyvanse Abuse

I have done the one thing I say I will not do every month with my vyvanse. I got 2 prescriptions filled this week one for 50 and one for 60. Now here it is day 4 that I have almost taken all of it. I am always looking for that ultimate high but it always ends up like this. The initial high is gone and now I feel like crap. I have barely slept or eaten and I am trying to get get past this stage of the crash. I am trying to hydrate and I am taking my normal meds prozac,lunesta,xanax. I do not want to keep with the cycle of smoking all day not eating and then having to take extra xanax and drink to go to sleep knowing I will feel worse in the morning. I am so uninterested in anything around me but I feel I need to be doing something. Any stories or advice would be much appreciated. *please do not lecture me on the dangers of such high doses I already know *

Hello, Ashley! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem you're having.

And fine, I will skip the lecture, you're an adult anyway, so I'm sure you're quite aware of the overdose dangers, such as heart attack and stroke, as listed by the FDA.

But, what I will say is that you need to seek medical help with this issue. You could actually be having more depression than usual, so your Prozac dose may need to be adjusted to help prevent this, or you may need to switch to a different medication.

Do you have a therapist that you're seeing regularly?
