Vyvanse and Propranolol are not usually prescribed together, since Vyvanse is a stimulant that can cause elevations in your blood pressure, and heart rate, according to FDA reports. Other side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, weight loss, and anorexia.

Amy, it really depends on which one works best for you. What has your physician prescribed? Have you tried either of these medications?

It should also be noted that NIH warns that this class of medications carries the risk of being habit forming.
