There is no reason at all to worry. You only got 400,000 IU's total, and some doctors choose to give 600,000 IU's all at once for serious deficiency. They even will give infants 600,000 IU's all at once in cases of serious deficiency. If you were deficient, there is zero risk of any problems to either you or your baby from taking this much.
You can finish your prescription and get a blood test in 2 to 3 months to check your levels. You can see my page on Vitamin D Overdose http://www.easy-immune-health.com/Overdose-on-Vitamin-D.html
Also, you might want to see my page on Vitamin D and Breastfeeding and to make sure that your doctor KEEPS you on a dose adequate to get Vitamin D in your breastmilk. http://www.easy-immune-health.com/vitamin-d-and-breastfeeding.html
Until that time, you should make sure that you are ALSO supplementing your baby, as your baby is not getting enough Vitamin D if you are deficient. Doctors say that breastmilk is a poor source of vitamin D. It's not. It's a WONDERFUL source of vitamin D.. if the mother is sufficient in Vitamin D.

Too much vitamin D may cause elevations in the level of calcium in your body, which could be dangerous, if it goes too high or if you have certain medical conditions.
Thus, it is best to inform your doctor, so they can recheck your blood work.
Are there any other questions or concerns?
I'm not an expert but I have researched Vitamin D, as I am taking 50,000 IU every 2 weeks, was every week. I feel so much better. From what I have read, it should be alright. I would definitely check with my doctor to be absolutely sure. The doctor might have your levels retested. There is a lot of information on the medical websites about prescription Vitamin D.
