Vitamin C Capsules How To Use

I opened 3 vitamin C capsules. Squeezed them into a little dish, with a probiotic emptied into the mixture as well.

Had a breakout between my jaw/chin area due to 'that time of the month' ....

I actually use it topically on my skin. They say vitamin C serums are a hoax, and that it's most effective to treat skin disorders topically via the gel or powder mixed with an oil like coconut oil or shark liver oil :)

Still breaking out on either side of my mouth toward my jaw :/ Maybe time to start using Obagi retinol again.

Hi Ashley,

I've also heard that starting your menstrual cycle can cause acne around the chin/jaw area. So if you had a breakout it may not have been associated with the vitamin C capsules at all. I don't know if that's what you were getting at and were concerned by it, but thought I'd mention it anyways. However, regarding your query on "how to use vitamin c capsules", the typical method of administration is to simply take them orally as the directions state. But I do know you can also empty them into water a chug it take way too.

I actually use vitamin C powder from Swanson's and they give you a miniature scooper (measuring out each dose) so you can add it to your water or juice. Capsules tend to be much more convenient though if you're on the go.
