Been on Vybrid for about two months now. Attacked my wife last week and slit my throat and wrists. Took 47 stitches to get me fixed up. Spent a week in the hospital then jail time. This med has turned me into monster. I would never hurt my wife much less myself.

I have been on Viibryd for about two months with severe clinical depression. I have noticed it works well for me. But I have also noticed that Viibryd either works really well for a person, or it goes horribly wrong. My mom's best friend tried it and ended up threatening to kill the kids (mostly in a joking way, I think, but not completely sure).

Sorry to hear about your past experience Jim. I hope things at home are much better now than they were last year. Although cases like this are rare, sometimes these types of antidepressants can actually have an opposite effect on the user.

I finished one pack of viibryd and attacked my husband and have attempted to end my life. I have never been violent to anyone before this monster of a drug was prescribed. I'm on day 4 of no meds and am going on 34 hours of being wide awake. The first couple of days I slept all day on and off with horrible nightmares. I am so ready to be rid of this drug. It should not be on the shelf!
