Using Suboxone To Push Heroin Out

Is it dangerous to use suboxone to sober someone up that used heroin about 9 hrs ago and is still very high and doesn't like it. He isnt used to taking drugs and doesn't do it often, has never experienced with drawl and done it just recreational. He wants to sober up so would it hurt him to take a forth of a suboxone strip to push the heroin out and sober him up some or will that just screw him up worse or hurt him?

I'm assuming he's not using subs as directed by a doctor. No judgement here, I'm a recovering addict BUT YES it is very dangerous. Someone who is opiate naive should never dose with subs. That's probably the reason he is still experiencing the added narcotic like effect produced by sub in addition to his heroin use. I'd highly suggest having him medically evaluated as a risk of respiratory arrest exists.

Yes actually it can be fatal especially for persons unaccustomed to potent meds of this class. I'd suggest he seek medical support asap.repetitive doses of long acting substances can cause serious unpredictable effects.
