With the itch, it is likely that you're having an allergic reaction and those just tend to get worse, with repeated exposure. Thus, you need to inform your doctor as this probably isn't a good medication for you to take.
Other symptoms of an allergic reaction, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include dizziness, swelling and trouble breathing.
