I take this once or two times a day depending pain level. Is the mg in the tylenol too little or too much. Thank you

Only your doctor can tell you what dosage is right for you, but generally, each dose of Acetaminophen (Tylenol) should be no more than 1,000mgs in any 8 hour period and no more than 3,000mgs per 24 hour period.
The FDA limits the current prescription doses to no more than 325mgs per dose.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
