Tying To Take The First Step

I am about to kick opioids. How long do I wait before I can take a sub? I want to take a little bit of sub to get through the tough part of the withdrawal. I need to quit. I know its a lot to ask for this to be easy since I got myself into this and there should be consequences, but I am afraid if I can't make it easy I wont follow through... selfish I know. Any feedback please?

You must be in full withdrawal, before taking Suboxone, otherwise it could throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. Most doctor's recommend 3 to 4 days. So no, you can't start with even small amounts.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

If you want something easier, which you can start immediately, it may be better for you to look into Methadone, if there is a clinic near you.
