Tricyclic Antidepressants
UpdatedI had to take a drug screen for pre-employment and it came back with a preliminary positive for Tricyclic Antidepressants. I do take citalipram, but this does not fit into that class of drugs. Is there anything else, perhaps an over the counter medication, that might cause a false positive. I have been taking cold medication for a sinus problems, and I also take Unisom at night.

Not that I am aware of, this actually doesn't even make sense, because traditional drug screens do not test for these types of medications.
I recently had the same problem I figured out that it was Seroquel that was showing false positives for TCA's. Are you taking Seroquel?
