Hi Chava - how far along is the pregnancy?

According to the NIH (dailymed) Diclofenac is in pregnancy category C before 30 weeks, and then category D thereafter.

Category C (before 30 weeks): Risk not ruled out: Animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks.

Category D (on or after 30 weeks): Positive evidence of risk: There is positive evidence of human fetal risk based on adverse reaction data from investigational or marketing experience or studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks.

I don't mean to worry you with the above information and chances are that the baby is okay. Is the doctor who administered this drug now aware of the pregnancy? They may opt not to give you anymore of this medication moving forward. I hope this helps and please feel free to share any other details which you think would be important.

What happens if you get the shots injected without knowing that you are pregnant? What can happen to the baby?

Hello, Cat! How are you?

Since Tribedoce is not approved in the U.S., it may not be required to have an expiration date.

The FDA lists the drug ingredient in it as being Diclofenac, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, administration site reaction and redness.

Please note, this information only applies to the standard Tribedoce, which also includes some vitamins. There are other formulations that contain other ingredients.

Is there anything else I can help with?
