Triamterene 37.5 25

i take sandoz triam and have to cut in half. which causes pill to break up in several pieces. i have a splitter. my question is there a lower dose i don't have to split?

Unfortunately, that is the lowest dose available of the Triamterene with Hydrochlorothiazide.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, increased urination and dehydration.

Have you discussed it with your doctor? Perhaps you could switch to a different medication.
