Trepiline 10mg

My mother is diabetes and suffer from burning foot and ankle pains and symptoms. Her doctor has prescribes Trepiline 10mg, one at night time. Any reason why? As i have reading up on the drug, and no where does it state anything to do with the lower leg pains. Also will this be the reason why her blood suger levels spike (+15) now and again?

Amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant, some of these do help some people with certain types of nerve pain.

And it can have an effect on blood sugar, it can raise or lower it.

iv been on amitriptyline 10mg for 5 weeks now for lower leg pain which stops me from sleeping , and to be honest they do seem to work,, i sleep through the night now, my only problem is my mouth seems to get dry .

I am on Trepeline 10 mg for pain in the right arm and numbness in the arm, but I cannot seem to stay awake the next day I also suffer from extreme dryness of the mouth.

My dad is diabetic and has an enlarged heard. He is on pergoxin, puresis and Prexum. He does not stop coughing and his sugar levels stays high sins prxum has been aded. Can it be the wrong combination.

Hi, I've been experiencing burning sensation on my buttocks, inner thighs, vagina and legs. The doctor gave me trepiline tablets for the nerve. I've had a spinal xray but nothing is wrong. Will the trepiline help for to ease this pain and for how long will I be using it?
