Tranxene Versus Klonopin

I have been taking 3 one mg klonopin for 25 years, I now have tranxene 7.5 mg. I'm very worried that I will have withdrawal because I've read that Tranxene is very weak in comparison. Is this true? I'm terrified I will have a seizure. Please any advice or info is greatly appreciated.

Yes, it is much weaker, you actually need 15mgs of Tranxene to equal each 1mg of Klonopin. You're not going cold turkey, which lessens the seizure risk, but it doesn't completely eliminate it.

These medications also carry the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.
