No registration is required and your identity remains anonymous.I have been taking 3 one mg klonopin for 25 years, I now have tranxene 7.5 mg. I'm very worried that I will have withdrawal because I've read that Tranxene is very weak in comparison. Is this true? I'm terrified I will have a seizure. Please any advice or info is greatly appreciated. ## Hello, Bri! How are you? Yes, it is much weaker, you actually need 15mgs of Tranxene to equal each 1mg of Klonopin. You're not going cold turkey, which lessens the seizure risk, but it doesn't completely eliminate it. These medications also carry the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Did you doctor prescribe this dosage?
1 REPLY UpdatedTraxine 7.5 how many to equal 2 mg zanax i cant sleep at night i have a high tolerence ## Hello, Sherry! How are you? Tranxene is actually much weaker than Xanax, so it would require 30mgs of it to be equivalent to 2mgs of Xanax. However, you shouldn't take that many, unless your doctor approves, it might be dangerous for you to do so. The FDA lists these medications as being Benzodiazepines, which are most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. They carry the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with?
1 REPLY UpdatedI am a Vietnam veteran with PTSD. I took this drug for several years and it was a big help. Now Doctors are saying that they will not prescribe this medication because it'a addictive. It is not addictive to me. I need more information on the availability of this medication. ## Did you mean Tranxene, which contains the active ingredient Clorazepate, which is used to treat anxiety? It is a Benzodiazepine derivative, so it can be habit forming and addictive. It is still available, but it is considered a controlled substance and doctors do have to be careful in the prescribing of such. You can read more about the medication here and see that its habit forming tendencies are clearly warned about: Are there any comments or questions?
1 REPLY Updatedsmall blue pill M on one side 70 on the other ## I'm not finding an image or listing with these markings that matches this. Either in Tranxene or any other medication. However, if it is a new generic, it may not be in the databases, yet. Tranxene contains the active ingredient Clorazepate, which would also be the generic name. It is used to treat insomnia and anxiety. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and irritability. Read more here: Do you have any other questions?
1 REPLY UpdatedWhat is a blue pill with 9 V on top and under that 44? The other side is blank. It's very blue, like royal blue. ## If this matches, it is Tranxene SD Half-Strength Extended Release 11.25mgs, Cloazepate. This is a Benzodiazepine, low strength tablet, same drug class as Xanax, Valium and the like. So very addictive.
