Tramadol. 50 Mg Pills
UpdatedI need to know how to wean off tramadol without bad withdrawls.please help?

The best thing you can do is talk to your doctor that is prescribing it. They should be able to come up with a good taper plan for you and also might have other meds to put you on to make this process easier. Talk to you doctor about Gabapentin (good prescription med to help you with the restleg/sleep/pain you get at night). Also an anxiety med during the day would be helpful.
If you have been ordering it off the internet and/or are not able to get a doctor here are some suggestions.
Cutting cold turkey is not advisable (I have done it twice and the withdrawals are awful and can be dangerous) Tapering really depends on how long and how much you take a day, but if you check out this article it has tapering plans for you to try:

I highly suggest to start taking vitamins as soon as possible. It will make the withdrawals easier to handle. For example when I quit I took Fish Oil (1,200mg), B complex, B12, multi vitamin, Magnesium (at night helps with restless leg), melatonin (at night helps with sleep), Magnagel (in the morning helps with energy).
48 hours after you take your last Tramadol dose you can try Saint Johns wort if you are having anxiety or depression. This supplement can help with that, BUT DO NOT TAKE IT while still on Tramadol (this could cause serotonin syndrome) also this supplement can be dangerous with other meds so consult a doctor or pharmacist before mixing it with anything. Be completely honest with them about everything you are taking.
If the vitamins are not helping I did notice nyquil and dayquil also work well taking the edge off the withdrawals, just don't take them for to long as nyquil is habit forming. Physical activity like exercise, running/walking, etc. Try to cut a pill in half every few days. Example: If you're on 4 per day cut it to 3 1/2, then down to 3 and so on. Maybe drink a lot of coffee or caffeine if you have low energy.
