i would like some information on tramacet as in benefits, side effects, if it is narcotic or not and which is a better pain killer that wont cause a dependancy

Tramacet contains Acetaminophen and Tramadol.

Under the FDA in the US, Tramadol is classified as a narcotic. The reason for this is because while it works as an anti-inflammatory, it does have the addictive properties of a narcotic.

As to what won't cause dependency: anything you put in your body on a regular basis for a long period of time will cause dependency, be it regular over the counter Ibuprofen or your morning cup of orange juice. So you are not going to find any medication that won't cause it.

Some of the most common side effects include: nausea, vomiting, sweating and constipation.

tramacet is not considered a federal drug, but it has some of the same actions as an opiate. I will cause tollerance and addiction over time.
