been taking 7.5mg of zolpidem at night and for the first month it was ok but after the month 1 wasnt getting me to sleep so i split 1 in half and started taking 1 and a half at night, time went on and now i take 2 a night, whats going on and how to stop this from getting higher but still be able to sleep?

By taking 2, you are already exceeding the maximum amount that should be taken daily.
