Hello, Sunrise! How are you?
Yes, this medication is often used to help with heart function when someone has heart failure, I take it myself.
And yes, it can cause those types of symptoms as side effects, but the heart failure itself could also be causing them. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, headache, increased urination and hypotension.
The side effects should eventually go away, once your body gets used to the medication, usually around 4 to 5 weeks. If they continue past that, you should have it checked out.
Is there anything else I can help with?
