Very wrong! Subs are NOT just for "heavy" H users. It's for ALL opiate abusers! And it is VERY unsafe to take Suboxone with ANY medication containing opiates!

Sorry but you are wrong there it is not used for "Hardcore H users" it is used to treat people who have an addiction towards any opiate based drug. e.g. Morphine H Codeine etc

Im currently taking prescribed doses of Buprenorphine (Subutex) , to help with my addiction to codeine , im not trying to get at you but im just saying you either need to have first hand experience or know what you are talking about because that could offend some people who are sensitive when it comes to their addiction.

if you are only taking norco yeah suboxone will work. Think about it its for hard core herion users.

My findings state that there are potentially unsafe interactions that apply to the active ingredients in each of those medications. Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of:

"Using promethazine (phenergan) together with buprenorphine (suboxone) may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. Some people may also experience some impairment in thinking and judgment. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol while being treated with these medications. Avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how the medications affect you. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor."

The interaction information doesn't state this to be a serious problem, but in my opinion it would still be wise to consult your doctor about the possible effects before following through with that combination.
