Are you currently exercising on a regular basis? I think it would be very beneficial for maintaining a healthy weight and regulating your thyroid while you're on a vegan diet (or any diet for that matter); perhaps in the form of consistent strength training. Of course, you'll want to gradually work your way up. But this avenue should at least help alleviate many symptoms of depression in the meantime.
As far as food goes, In my opinion the best options are always going to be fresh ripe raw organic fruits and vegetables. Whether they are eaten raw, juiced, blended together, in a salad, or what ever it may be, these foods are ideal for healing our bodies of many ailments. High in fiber, unrefined carbohydrates that is easy for the body to digest, nutrient dense, alkalizing, medicinal, anti-inflammatory, etc…nothing beats good ol' fruit and veggies.
my weight is 112 pounds doc suggest not to loose weight n i m trying to be vegan ....can you suggest some food for pcos
Hi soniyo,
If the hypnodid hasn't been working well, I think it would be wise to consider other, more natural alternatives for helping your body heal itself from Polycystic ovary syndrome (pcos).
This may or may not be a concern of yours, but from what I could gather, a modest weight loss can improve high androgen and high insulin levels as well as infertility. It has been reported that weight loss of as little as 5% to 7% over 6 months can reduce androgen levels enough to restore ovulation and fertility in more than 75% of women who have PCOS. For a 160 pound woman, that's justÂ8 pounds!
It has also been noted that 'with treatment', women with PCOS are usually able to get pregnant, so I would not give up hope! Sometimes you just have to wonder if the reasons why you haven't been able to conceive lately is simply because the timing also wasn't right and life had other plans for you at those exact moments.
What I'm really saying is, all this waiting could actually turn out to have been for the better. "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."
I hope this advice helps! :)
