I am taking Sulf trime tab 800 /160 mg.
It's for my swollen foot ...I got bit by something on the cruise ship. The doctor also gave me Ibuprofen 600 mg and oxy for pain. I am throwing up about an hour after taking the medication....I feel so sick from throwing up every 10 minutes. What can I do for this awful problem? Thank you! Daria

Hello, Daria! How are you?

Any of these 3 medications could cause nausea and it's likely worsened by taking all 3 of them.

Have you consulted the doctor, again? They may be able to prescribe something to help with the nausea.

Oxycodone is classified by the FDA as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Ibuprofen is classified as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation and increased risk of bleeding.

The typical side effects of the antibiotic may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
