Sulfa Drugs Allergy Is It In Suboxon

I was put in the hospital for 7 days come to find out I was allergic to sulfa now im on subuoxon and I cant hardy breathe

Suboxone is an opiate, so it can cause respiratory depression as a side effect. What dosage are you on?

The U.S. FDA classifies it as opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

However, there is a chance you may be allergic to it, as well. Typically, when one is allergic to one medication, they find others that they are also allergic to.
