Suboxone With Surgery And Opiates

Today is Sunday a
I have been taking 1/3 of an 8/mg strip everyday for about 12 days. I have surgery on wed., I'm also Being put to sleep. My question is after I take a third Sunday if I stop completely will I be ok on wed for the surgery and pain mess after

There is a chance that the Naloxone in the Suboxone could cause problems with the anesthesia and prevent pain medications from working, after surgery. So, it's very important that you tell the surgeon you're taking it and see how far off from surgery they want you to stop taking it.

The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
