Hi all, I just made the switch from Methadone to Suboxone! YES! I went through hell to get here but I did it. Anyway, I'm on day 3 of suboxone and I'm at 16mg. My question is should I take two 8mg strips in the morning or one in the morning and one in the afternoon? Any input would help. Btw, this is the ONLY forum I've found that is updated!

It is generally given in a single daily dose, though splitting it up may work better for you and can be done, if your doctor approves.
The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
