Suboxone And Cough Syrup

I am on Suboxone. I have been on it for about a year or a little better. I have come down with a severe cough and cold. I can't sleep at night due to coughing so bad. Is there anything at all that I can take with the Suboxone that won't have a bad interaction. I just can't lay down without coughing my head off. I don't know what to do. I just need something to help settle this cough a little. Any suggestions???

What do you usually take for cough? While most cough products should be okay, as long as they don't contain an opiate narcotic, it is hard to say without knowing which one you want to take. Can you please post back and clarify?
