Suboxone contains the active ingredient Buprenorphine, this is a powerful opiate narcotic, used to treat addiction and severe cases of chronic pain.

That said, narcotics are well-known to be transferred to the baby during pregnancy, which is why some infants are born already addicted when their mothers were drug abusers.
